Hope C asked:

All of the books I have read, say that you MUST use certified seed potatoes. Is there any reason I shouldn’t seed out some of the organic fingerling potatoes I already have? I can understand not using regular storebought potatoes, but shouldn’t organic be okay? Same question about sweet potatoes. Any tips or advice will be appreciated!

moshugp asked:

For instance, we all know that you cannot label something as “organic” without it being certified. My question is this…can a product have a normal line and an organic line that both conisist of organic ingredients? More specifically, can normal PAM contain organic ingredients without being labeled as organic? The purpose of doing so would be to steer customers towards the SAME product that has the organic label for a few more dollars.

angel_fish1791 asked:

My tomatoes are doing great but a spider mite infestation has developed. I like to keep things organic and I’m having trouble getting information on ways to deter spider mites on tomatoes. I’ve heard that diatomaceous earth or salt water work through severe dehydration of the insects, will this also cause the tomatoes to shrivel and dehydrate? Does garlic water work well against spider mites?
